“WORKING THROUGH TRAUMA CAN TEACH US SO MUCH WISDOM + CAN REVEAL FOR US THE BEAUTY OF OUR EXISTENCE, THAT, BECAUSE OF TRAUMA, WE LOST SIGHT OF.”

- DR. GABOR MATE
THE WISDOM OF TRAUMA

You’re here because:

Life looks “good” from the outside, but it feels anything but.

Those things that used to help you feel better?

They’re not working like they used to.

Hey. I’m Anna.

I take a no-BS approach to therapy.

I’m Anna Barsoe, a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in supporting first responders, individuals affected by trauma, and those navigating life transitions. With a background in working with military families and extensive training in trauma-informed care, I am committed to addressing the unique challenges faced by my clients.

My approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, incorporating Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and the compassionate inquiry method developed by Gabor Maté. I believe, as AH Alamas said, "Only when compassion is present will people allow themselves to see the truth." I emphasize resilience and emotional well-being, providing a safe environment for clients to process their experiences, heal, and thrive through life's changes.

My specialties

I work with busy people seeking real change.

Therapy that fits your busy life.
